Nivea Cleansing Lotion Review

My review on the Nivea Daily Essentials Creme Care Cleansing Lotion.
I would give this product 4 out of 5 and would definitely repurchase in the future, the reason behind this score you will find out whilst reading this review, and seeing that this lotion actually has a lot of benefits to it, as well as cleaning your skin it has other multi-uses. It's an all round year wear lotion.

Nivea creme care cleansing lotion

What I liked:
- removes impurities and makeup
- gentle, does not irritate skin
- leaves skin soft and moisturized

What I didn't like:
- it may not be suitable for oily or sensitive skin types
- may not be suitable around eyes

This new lotion from Nivea, can be used on you face, and all over your body as well as using it as a cleansing lotion to keep your skin clean. I also feel this is a moisturiser to my skin, because most of the time I do have dry skin and this product actually makes the dry skin disappear and makes my skin feel smoother and softer.

The other benefits of the product, the ingredients and the application is all written at the back of the bottle as you can see or you can check this information which tells you a bit more about the product itself, from the nivea website. This product also claims to remove makeup as well as waterproof mascara, and to check, I tested this out. I did test this out myself and it actually worked it removed foundation, blusher, concealer and eyeshadow (the normal face makeup).

I would highly recommend you be careful using this around your eyes when removing mascara especially because you don't want it getting into your eyes, and when removing lip products I recommend you cleanse your lips with water after removing lipstick/lipgloss/lipliner otherwise the lotion taste may head inside your mouth, I personally wouldn't use this on my lips but if you wish to I suggest doing it with a cotton pad, and the same goes for mascara to cleanse your eyes with water in case product goes into the eyes. I didn't enjoy using this a lot around my eyes or for mascara because I noticed product would actually go into my eye even if I did not want it to, so I would only use this for my face, not around facial features.
Nivea lotion
Overall, I think this is a good nivea lotion for the skin it helps it soften and become moisturised, but would not use it as a makeup remover. This product is available at Superdrug and Tesco as far as I know, so you can purchase this lotion from there either online or instore.
